Ohh man, I’ve always wanted to be quoted like Benjamin Franklin. Sooo jealous. I have always liked this quote:

“When a person with money meets a person with experience, the person with the experience winds up with the money and the person with the money winds up with the experience”

    These quotes are great.
How right was Pliny the Younger and still is today.

Can’t tell you how many objects around our home I don’t care about now that they are here!
We should all practice cart abandonment more.

On a more somber note, thank you for including Anne Frank’s, especially given her circumstances!

My favorite is “Debt is an income depressant.” – Bridget Casey. As of today, I no longer have a monthly car payment. Which makes me want to revisit this gem:

It’s not completely “freed up.” We’re channeling the car payment toward slaying another debt. Just got a medical bill for almost $4,000. The really ridiculous thing is that it is from almost 4 years ago and now they’re calling me every day about paying this “past due” bill. Can they really call it past due if they billed me for the first time for it 2 weeks ago?

Tonia, If that bill is from 4 years ago, it’s probably been sold to a collection agency. The original lender has sold it to a 3rd party lender. Tell them to send you the original contract that you signed. If that fails to stop the harassment, simply tell them to stop calling you. There are laws in lending and these collection agency’s are not allowed to harass you. In 3 years. It will be off your credit anyway. My information came from a lady who worked for a credit bureau.
BTW, the 3rd party lender never has the original contract. Do your own research.

Charlie Munger’s quote – gotta love it!

Here are some translations from Italian that are quite cool:

“It has nothing to do with more or less money: a billion more or less doesn’t change your life”.
“Many dream of money because they have no other dreams to dream”.
“It’s the money that gives you ideas”.

The best quote in your article is undoubtedly:
“Just because someone has more doesn’t mean you don’t have enough.”
