Happy Friday!!
And welcome to our LAST DAY of giveaways!
Starting Monday we’ll be back to our regularly scheduled programming, so don’t worry if you think the blog’s been hijacked forever ;) Just trying to spread the love and declutter my minimalist space at the same time! And I say “space” because it’s most certainly not my *home*, but more like my wife’s and kid’s, lol… But at least 1/10th of it is minimal!
Before we get to today’s goodies though, here are the winners of yesterday’s merch:
- “Bank Roll” tee — Angie
- “Get Your Money” tee — Tiera B.
- Life Goals Ampersand tee — Victoria S.
- “Bank Roll” sweatshirt (gray) — Steve B.
- “Bank Roll” sweatshirt (black) — Cathy K.
- “i’m on a budget” sweatshirt — bridget_budget
Wear ’em loud and proud! 😎
And now for today’s goods…

#1. Statement Cards
So we have millions of greeting cards for birthdays and holidays and graduations etc, but what about cards celebrating women’s ambitions and milestones “beyond marriage and motherhood”?!
This was the inspiration behind these “Statement Cards” created by Stefanie O’Connell Rodriguez who believes in “recognizing women, not only for their value in relation to others, but also, for their own achievements and successes.”
This package contains 6 unique Statement Cards, and are perfect for “supporting your sister as she starts her own business, congratulating your bestie when she scores a raise, or taking a moment to acknowledge yourself when you finish paying off your student loans. We’re here to help you celebrate – joyfully and unapologetically.”
Pretty cool idea, and very much needed in our world :) Here’s more of the backstory on it from an interview we did a couple years ago: The Story Behind “Statement Cards”

#2. Vanguard Mugs
My collection of beautiful clever coffee mugs!! Which I rarely use and thus why I’m giving them away, even though I really REALLY like them!! :) But maybe one of you can use them in your daily routines and make me feel better that they are going to a good home?! Or better yet – maybe you keep one and then pass on the others to keep spreading the love of index funds?
However you play it, all 3 are up for grabs and sure to improve anyone’s morning ☕☕

#3. Coin Collecting Package
This is for anyone who’s been thinking of collecting one day but doesn’t know where to start! Or who just loves learning about our nation’s currency.
The package includes:
- 3 magazines from our hobby’s association, the American Numismatic Association (who also has one of the best DOMAINS online in the world: money.org!) — Great articles along with current price guides (though I never use those, and prefer the “Red Book“)
- A copy of the Bank Note Reporter — which focuses more on paper money than coins, and also includes articles as well as a price guide (I *do* use this one for all my paper money valuing…)
- The “Red Book“ — our hobby’s most popular value guide for coins in the U.S., as well as from colonial times. This book alone will get you most of what you need when evaluating a coin collection, and also comes with some good history info in the beginning as well. If you ever need help deciphering it (it’s not too hard), or prefer having someone else value your coins for you, just give me a shout and I’d be happy to hook it up. I help evaluate, inventory, and sell collections all the time – it’s super fun!

#4. Love and Money Bundle

The 5 Money Conversations offers practical advice for dealing with three age groups (5–12, 13–17, and 18 and beyond). It is the parenting “how to” book you don’t want to live without.” – Amazon

Happy Friday indeed! I’d like to be entered to win the statement cards because I love to send cards via snail mail to brighten someone’s day!
Also please enter me for the Coin Collecting package so I can try to determine the value of my paper and coin collection as I’m thinking of selling portions.
I’d love to see the list of what you’re selling once you’re done – I might be interested in them! :)
(and if you need any help along the way, just shout 👍)
I would find the Coin Collecting Package so useful. I inherited my father’s coin collection. It has been sitting in boxes and cans for six years now. This will give me the push to research what I actually have and determine its worth.
Ahhh yes!! Please do pick up the Red Book if you don’t win it – you’ll find it incredibly helpful! :)
I would love to have the Love & Money package because my husband and I do have different ideas about money, and I’d sure like us to figure it out so we’re both content. Also, we have an almost 20 year old son who is trying to figure out how best to use money.
Thanks for the consideration!
The statement cards! I send hand written notes to friends every 1-2 weeks to try to brighten their day/ week. This would be a great win because I wouldn’t keep them, they’d be spreading positive vibes with others.
Such a great idea – love it :)
The coin collecting package. My father passed 6 years ago in November. He has a large collection still in mom’s possession. She is nervous about taking it somewhere for appraisal. This would give her a starting point. Thank you!
Good!! If you don’t win it be sure to send her a copy of the Red Book for a gift or something! Or send her my way and i’ll be happy to talk things over with her as well – gotta make sure we get that collection into another pair of hands that can appreciate and continue on what he started :)
I would love to be entered for the coffee mugs. The “contents are extremely cost effective” is a brilliant and subtle message to all those Starbuckers out there!
Love the statement cards!! I am a card collector of all occasions but do not have any like these in my collection. Would be amazing to send to friends to let them know, “I see you and your accomplishments”
Oh cool! I didn’t know collecting greeting cards was a hobby!? You should check out her site for all the others she’s created as well – she’s always coming up with good ones :) –> StatementCards.com
The statement cards or the coin collector book! OMG! it took me all week to figure out how to leave a comment! :) Love your blog!
HAH!
Now you can get addicted and send me comments after *every* blog post ;)
Please consider me for the coin collecting bundle. I recently received some old coins. I’m curious about them and don’t know where to look to start learning about coins. Seeing this today seem like serendipity to me.
Id love to win the coin collecting bundle. Ive had a lot of coins passed down through the years and have no idea of their value. It sounds like a good research projwhen it 30 below this winter and we are stuck inside.
Haha… yeah it does.
The coffee cups! I like the sayings on them. Thank you for a fun week.
you’re very welcome :)
I’d like to win #3. I have 6 children and each of them have unique thoughts regarding how to accumulate wealth. Additionally the second and third oldest boys love collecting baseball cards and coins. They have well over 4k coins. They continually peruse the internet looking for the value of their cards and coins. Thanks for your blog and all the joy you bring your readers!
I’m glad you’re enjoying it!
I’d love to be considered for either of these :)
Coin stuff – My 9 year old son is obsessed with coins and I just dusted off my late father’s coin collection to get him started. He’s in heaven! Future J$?
Vanguard – One of my good friends is a successful realtor and I’m constantly telling her to invest in Vanguard – maybe giving her a mug would help convince her? :) :)
Happy Friday!
you’re raising a smart kid ;)
I would love the Vanguard coffee cups! I have the travel mug myself, but it is looking very battered due to so much use! And I would love to give the mugs to my mom as a gift. She introduced me to Vanguard. :)
Would love the coffee cups.
Anyone who doesn’t use reusable mugs and fill them from the free coffee pot at work should reconsider.
(and I’m not the Steve B that won yesterday)
I just want to say you’re awesome and a bright light that makes the week fun, what a great idea this was. You’re the best J!
😊
In the same sich as Kat B. above and would love the coin collecting package. Inherited a coin collection spanning @150 years and don’t know a thing about coins. I love history, so I think this would be some interesting reading too. Thanks for your giveaways!
Yes – you’d enjoy it!! Be sure to pick up a copy of the book if you don’t win! :)
What a fun week of giveaways this is! I’m obsessed with those statement cards. As a woman nearing 40 with no kids, we do not celebrate milestones or success like we should outside of having babies!! I will send those to all my friends. I may just buy them even if I don’t win :)
YES! Please do! She has a lot of other different ones too that I wasn’t able to feature here… Such a fantastic idea (and mission).
Love & money. This is most interesting to me because I love to learn more about money and how different people think about it. And especially how to teach my kids about it!!
I love the mugs! Because coffee is important, and so is frugality!
Yeah they are :)
