I would definitely keep this for myself and use it to finally have an official budget. I’ve never actually used any money management software nor have I even sat down with pen and paper and TRULY budgeted. And I need to! So this would be a great way to start.

  2. LIndsay December 14, 2011 at 6:08 PM

That would be amazing! I just started tracking my purchases more closely, and this would definitely help!

  3. Kelli December 14, 2011 at 6:09 PM

Oops, is the Quicken giveaway only for Canadians? If so, then plese delete my entry since I’m in the U.S. :)

  4. Laura December 14, 2011 at 6:18 PM

Yay a gift for Canadians! I would keep it for myself and use it to really keep a good eye on our spending while we’re working our way out of debt!

  5. Robin December 14, 2011 at 6:51 PM

Yay for Canada! (I’m not entering because I am a Canuck in the US) but just wanted to say thanks for the Canadian shout out, J!

Ooooh, pick me, pick me! I run a small business and this would be PERFECT for me to use! Each year I enter my transactions into an ugly excel spreadsheet which doesn’t help me budget or give me useful charts to look at.

I read your blog all the time J$ – I feel bad now for only now posting a comment when it’s for a chance to win something but in any case, hello from Vancouver, BC!

  7. J. Money December 14, 2011 at 7:38 PM

Haha… y’all are funny :) I love each and every one of you Canadians whether you comment or not! I’m glad I finally have something *JUST* for you guys – you make my 2nd % readership – woo!

My hubby would really love to retire in a few years and this software would be such a big help!!

  9. Melissa December 14, 2011 at 11:00 PM

We Canadians love you, J. Money!!

I would love to win this! I just recently (as in, a couple of weeks ago) left my full-time job to pursue a freelance career (!!!) and this would be so useful in getting going, and managing my finances. Currently I use Mint and a good old pad and and paper, but I fear it will only take me so far. Pretty please?

  10. Kris December 15, 2011 at 12:32 AM

A Canadian giveaway! How cool. :)

I would use it myself – I use Mint right now, but the fact is, it does not integrate with a lot of my investment accounts, so I’m still tracking way too many things manually in Excel!

  11. Katherine December 15, 2011 at 1:34 AM

I have a few family members whom could really use this money tracking tool. They are concidering filing bankruptcy.:(

  12. Nate December 15, 2011 at 2:27 AM

Integrate, but separate, my personal and small business finances.

  13. Gerro December 15, 2011 at 3:54 AM

I have been a Quicken user since 2000. Been using it to manage my finance and investment. This will upgrade my copy of Quicken 2008 H&B. Very much needed!

  14. Sustainable PF December 15, 2011 at 8:48 AM

I would, manage my blogging and work income, household finances and all that Jazz. Greetings from Ontario (Canada!).

  15. ib December 15, 2011 at 10:55 AM

I would love to win this, right now we’re just using excel and I’m starting to drown in too many spreadsheets.

  16. Steeb December 15, 2011 at 12:34 PM

I would keep this one as a ‘Merry Christmas to Me’ gift. This would replace the spreadsheets that I make myself, and would allow me to get the charts / graphs that I love but “will get around to making in Excel someday”.

  17. JohnnyLightning December 16, 2011 at 2:04 AM

This would be perfect for me. I’m looking to start a small home-based business in 2012 and could use the brilliant software to quicken my progress to financial independence. =)

  18. BradC December 16, 2011 at 10:13 AM

I would give this to my wife, or my dad – both love to budget and would definitely get great use out of it.

  19. KimD December 16, 2011 at 10:14 AM

Yay!! I would so keep this. my currently budgeting is a clunky amount of spreadsheets. this would be great!

  20. Stacy December 16, 2011 at 12:22 PM

I would definitely keep this for myself and take advantage of being able to download the info from my bank to the software – track my spending (yike) and stay on budget.

  21. Michelle December 16, 2011 at 1:07 PM

I would use this for myself!

  22. Matt December 16, 2011 at 1:35 PM

I am sure I have a Canadian friend that I could give this to .

  26. SophieW December 17, 2011 at 5:11 PM

Greeting from Halifax, Nova Scotia :)

This one would definitely stay with me! I’ve been using a combination of excel and gnucash and it works but incredibly time consuming! Just the thought of using Quicken instead makes me tingley all over ;)

  27. lori December 17, 2011 at 8:53 PM

I would give it to my friend who struggles with managing her money.
