Anyone a SHOPAHOLIC? They’re casting for a new show.

(Got this in a press release — Anyone fit the bill? If so I want 10% ;))
===========================================================
From the producer of OBSESSED, we’re seeking SHOPAHOLICS for a new series for a major cable network!

  • Do you or someone you know shop to excess?
  • Are you addicted to shopping?
  • Do you spend all your time and money shopping?
  • Is shopping affecting your personal, financial, or professional life?
  • What would happen if you don’t stop shopping?
  • Are you out of control?

This is a new project that will explore the lives of shopaholics, and seek to help them on their journey to recovery. If you or someone you know is dealing with a shopping addiction, we want to hear from you. To submit please contact us at castingshoppers (at) gmail (dot) com, with your name, contact information, a recent photo of yourself and a short description of you and your situation.

PS: Did you know there’s a Debtors Anonymous? If you ARE in major debt, and you don’t feel like plastering it around all over the place, be sure to check them out. I’ve heard they’re pretty good :)

Oh my. I’d be too embarrassed to be on this show, but I think I might qualify. And I do like being on TV. Hm…

Does shopping for golf balls count? I can’t stop hitting them in the damn lake, so I can’t stop buying them!

I wonder if free stuff off of Craigslist qualifies?

    Haha…

@Annabelle – — Reach out and see what happens! I think it’s always worth the first call and you can always say no later :)
@Kevin @ Thousandaire.com – Haha, only if me and lottery tickets count!
@Molly – Now that’s an interesting one… it is rather addicted!

Thankfully, no! I was not blessed (?) with the shopping gene, though I do like shoes and bags, but in tasteful moderation. Shopping mostly just bores me to tears, so I have no fear of becoming a shop-a-holic.

Haha, well that’s good! I used to be pretty addicted myself before my 40 day no shopping challenge – now I can go weeks, even month!, without going to stores I don’t have to be in. I still miss the thrill of getting great deals and a spruced up wardrobe though. My stuff is starting to get old ;)

I seriously have shopping issues. There is nothing i would rather do more. i may have a problem, but the first step is admitting it right??
