New Book Alert + Giveaway: “Inner Entrepreneur”

Good morning, friends!

Got another great book to give away today!

But first – wanted to thank you real quick for all the love and encouragement on our latest business launch I just posted about. We got a lot of great interest from the community so far as well as a handful of signups which is always promising when you put something out into the world – so thanks! :)

Also while I’m at it, we raised $2,000 for our Community Fund the other month – woo!! Half of which I’ve already disseminated into the homeless community to help feed them, clothe them, shelter them, paper them!, and much much more. It won’t solve all their problems of course, but it’s a nice reprieve from their daily lives and I know they appreciate every last kind gesture we do. So thanks for helping me turbocharge it! :)

Now onto the giveaway!

“Inner Entrepreneur”
A Proven Path to Profit and Peace

This one’s an exciting one to bring to you not only because of the content (all us bloggers are solopreneurs – even if by accident! 🤣) but mainly because it comes from a good blogger friend of mine, who’s as smart as he is NICE: Grant Sabatier.

You might recognize him from MillennialMoney.com, or his best selling book, “Financial Freedom“. And he also just launched a real life independent bookstore too if you can believe it!! This guy never sleeps! Haha… (Check out ClintonvilleBooks.com if you’re ever in the Columbus, Ohio area)

At any rate, super legit and genuine dude, and here’s what he says about his latest book – WHICH JUST DROPPED TODAY!!

*****

“Inner Entrepreneur contains everything Iโ€™ve learned over the past 15 years that has really made a difference in my businesses and life. Thereโ€™s no fluff. No generic business advice. Itโ€™s packed full of actionable steps. Iโ€™ve held nothing back.

While there are many great entrepreneur books, there isnโ€™t one like this โ€“ which presents a comprehensive view of how to go from finding a business idea to selling your company, acquiring, building a holding company, and more. Whether youโ€™re curious about entrepreneurship or youโ€™re already a pro, Iโ€™m confident youโ€™ll get value from Inner Entrepreneur.

The book is built around 4 levels of entrepreneurship and I dive deep into exactly what to do, consider, and the trade-offs required at each level:

  • Level 1: Experimental Entrepreneur
  • Level 2: Solopreneur
  • Level 3: Growth Entrepreneur
  • Level 4: Empire Entrepreneur

Whether youโ€™ve read my first book or not, this book is designed to help you build a business that gives you more freedom in your life.”

Want a free copy?!

I’ve got TWO free copies of Inner Entrepreneur to give away today :) All you have to do is answer the following question in the comments below (or via email), and you will automatically be entered to win.

What’s a dream business you’d love to build? Or a business you’re currently working on?

You don’t have to get too specific about it (“dog sitting” works), but feel free to elaborate too if you’re into it. You never know who will see it and could maybe help you out – or better yet, be a first customer! :)

If you’re fresh out of ideas and need a little push – peruse our Side Hustle Series and maybe something there will jump out at you. We’ve featured everything from Christmas tree stands to photo booth empires to worm harvesting to trash picker-uppers to even more erotic areas like phone sex operating ;) There’s a million things you can do for money, and this book by Grant can help you narrow it down and take action.

I’ll announce the two winners at the end of the week. GOOD LUCK!!

And thanks again to Grant for offering these up. You can learn more about his projects here: GrantSabatier.com

My family and I are in the process of moving from Jersey to Florida, a lifelong dream! One of our other dreams is to start a boat charter business as we love being on the water and my husband is a natural entertainer. We had a DJ business when we were younger and in college and always enjoyed sharing in fun and exciting life experiences with customers.

I’d start some sort of business to help in Christian ministry, like making Gospel tracts, or doing workshop/seminars. Etc. And, to write a book some day!

Dream Business: The Traveling Bourbon Writer โ€“ A One-Person Journey Through Americaโ€™s Best Spirits
My dream business is The Traveling Bourbon Writer, a one-person venture dedicated to exploring, reviewing, and storytelling around Americaโ€™s most iconic and hidden-gem bourbons, whiskeys, and distilleries.
    The Concept:
This business would be a solo-run content and publishing brand where I travel across the country, visiting distilleries, interviewing master distillers, and uncovering the history, craftsmanship, and unique flavors of different bourbons. The heart of the business would be authentic storytelling, focusing on both well-known brands and lesser-known, small-batch distilleries.
    How It Makes Money:
A premium newsletter & blog โ€“ A subscription-based email or blog where whiskey enthusiasts get exclusive stories, tasting notes, and deep-dive articles.
Self-published books & travel guides โ€“ Writing and selling books about the best bourbons, whiskey-pairing guides, and unique distillery road trips.
Brand sponsorships & distillery partnerships โ€“ Working with craft distilleries that want exposure and storytelling for their unique spirits.
Limited edition tasting events & experiences โ€“ Hosting curated bourbon tasting experiences for subscribers and high-end whiskey lovers.
Why It Works as a Solopreneur Venture:
Low overhead โ€“ A laptop, travel gear, and a passion for whiskey are all I need to get started.
No employees โ€“ Everything from content creation to publishing can be managed solo.
Scalable income streams โ€“ Digital products, books, and sponsorships allow revenue growth without added workload.
Freedom & adventure โ€“ Itโ€™s a business built around travel, storytelling, and a love for fine spirits.
    The Vision:
Over time, The Traveling Bourbon Writer becomes a respected voice in the whiskey world, attracting a loyal following of bourbon lovers who appreciate expert curation, storytelling, and unique experiences. Eventually, it could evolve into a trusted brand for whiskey education, travel, and premium content.

For me, it’s less about the specific side hustle. Rather, it’s more about a first step in independence. I’ve considered, vending machines, laundromats, real estate, and dry cleaners. I struggle to balance getting that going while keeping the day job in good standing. Well, I did get the real estate going but that truly is a passive investment.

if you had a vending machine or laundry mat on your way to or from work that would make it slightly easier to manage :) or maybe you can do it with a friend or business partner to lighten the load a bit? i’ve always been curious about those too.

A blogger in our community took on a laundromat business and now blogs about it! or at least used to – not sure if they still do but here’s the blog if you want to check it out: https://laundromats101.com/

Hi J! Some crazy ideas all around sewing if you can believe that. My husband and I sold our house in upstate NY in the fall and moved west. Weโ€™re looking for a home in Colorado. Since the area is full of people who use outdoor gear, Iโ€™d like to start a gear repair business. Also, my friends say that sewing is a dying art, so Iโ€™d like to teach free general sewing classes. I would probably need space and a few inexpensive sewing machines to get this started. Grantโ€™s book would be a big help!

Furnish, stock and prepare short term rentals for guests. I’ve done it for myself and would like to do it for other owners. There are so many vacation rentals in SWFL where I live, so the opportunities to help owners are abundant.
    Thank you for the giveaway!

Cool!! I bet you could re-use a lot of it too, or even create different bundles (house set up vs condo set up etc) and then just duplicate everything for multiple places… I hope you try it! :)

Iโ€™m currently building my career in real estate with Coldwell Banker Elite, where I help families find affordable homes and build wealth through the equity of their properties in the Fredericksburg, VA area. In addition, Iโ€™m growing a real estate photography business, offering services like photos, videos, and drone work to help other agents showcase their listings and strengthen their market presence.

Good Morning J Money! Hope you are well…..

This is a very timely question and it is forcing me to start getting serious. So, I am exactly 22 months away from retiring from my 9-5, moving from CA to OR, living in what will be a custom home we are building right now, (will be free and clear, no mortgage), on the beach. But, I know myself too well, and I know that I wont be able to just sit around.

I am dreaming of starting a business that merges my three great loves. Reading, Running, and Coffee. I am thinking a very small coffee book shop that supports local runner groups and maybe even somehow host a local fundraising 5k or something like that. Certainly need help doing all of this and this book may have some insight on where to begin.

Thanks again J Money for being out in this space.

AHHHH YOU NEED TO DO THIS!!!! This sounds fantastic!!! And I”m not even a runner!! haha…

But that whole vibe of coffee and books mixed with a passion is huge and communities love that type of stuff. Gets people interacting IN PERSON more too than always being behinds screens so do keep going with this track! :) And if you don’t win the book be sure to grab it from your local library as I guarantee it’ll help speed things along quicker 👍

(Also – very smart to be planning this far out from retirement too!! you are 100% right that it’s better to retire TO something than to nothing… too much of a shock to the system! :))

I have dreams of ‘retiring’ and starting a car rescue company. Basically find older cool cars that would likely be abandoned to the junkyard and fix them up and give them another chance at life. I hope to do this in about 5+ years experimentally when I plan to reach FI… Goal would be to at least break even on resell of the restored vehicles!

that actually does sound fun :) you could prob even make it into some sort of charitable thing where maybe you have cars/parts donated and then once it’s complete you give it away or sell and give proceeds to somewhere important to you. Or not haha… But either way I dig it!

I dream of having a web site/blog about low cost travel for low income Americans. I want to make it a safe space where there all travel redemptions are celebrated. Any discount on travel is celebrated. I’d like to start a youtube channel with the same theme, for the people that prefer a video over reading. I have bought the domain name LowCostTravel4U.com but have not yet finished creating my blog site.
