Book Giveaway: The Eventual Millionaire

Got my hands on a sexy new book that just hit the shelves! It’s called, The Eventual Millionaire: How Anyone Can Be an Entrepreneur and Successfully Grow Their Startup, and it’s written by a cool friend and blogger of mine, Jaime Tardy. In fact, I’ve got TWO of them – which are both for you!

[A little known fact about Mrs. Tardy: She knows karate and can kick your ass. But she’d never do it cuz she’s got the heart of gold – lucky for us ;)]

More known facts about Jaime:

  • She’s a business coach and speaker who helps entrepreneurs to achieve their goals
  • She’s the founder of EventualMillionaire.com, a site that features weekly millionaire interviews
  • She made her exit from the corporate world after finding herself $70,000 in debt and realizing that she hated her job. (16 months later she was rid of all that debt)
  • She once landed a prestigious guest post on one of the best blogs in the world: Budgets Are Sexy

What is an Eventual Millionaire?

An Eventual Millionaire is someone who knows they will be a millionaire, eventually. But they want to do it on their own terms—with an enjoyable life and an enjoyable business. Eventual Millionaires are everywhere, from the airplane pilot looking to start his own business for more freedom and money to a student looking to start her life on the right foot to a successful business owner needing inspiration and wondering how to take her business to the next level.

There are many ways to become a millionaire, but research has often shown that creating your own business is one of the best ways to build wealth. This book will lay the foundation for those looking to start their own business and work their way toward financial independence and a fulfilled life.

Inside the book:

eventual millionaire booksIt’s so new I haven’t even been able to read it yet! So there’s the gist from Amazon:

“Throughout the pages of this book you will learn how to take control of your money and your lifestyle, find work about which you are passionate, overcome your fears and excuses, start a viable business on the right foot, and keep moving forward despite the obstacles that will inevitably arise.

A highly regarded business coach who has interviewed over 120 millionaires, Tardy has used the insight she has gained from these successful professionals to create a resource that will teach you how to look at your work and your life from a new perspective—and how to achieve financial independence and happiness by doing work that you truly enjoy.”

this would be a gift for my wife who is trying to open an audiology private practice!

  2. Claire (Eat Well. Party Hard.) February 26, 2014 at 6:45 AM

Love this. I’d use that brand new book to create a more sustainable structure for my coaching practice–working one on one with clients is the jam, but I want to get smarter about helping large crowds of people via the interwebs–ie, generating good karma AND generating passive income. So, yes please!

  3. Kara February 26, 2014 at 7:07 AM

I’d love help with a blog idea I have that I’ve been nervous to try!

    1. J. Money February 26, 2014 at 10:24 AM

Well, the good thing is that starting a blog can be FREE which help :) Check out Jim’s blog over at Microblogger.com – he’s a good guy to learn from (and has the background to prove it – he sold his old blog for over $3 Million!)

      1. Brian @ Stocks and Cents February 26, 2014 at 11:20 AM

Broken link J! Just a heads up :(

        1. J. Money February 26, 2014 at 11:46 AM

          Fixed – good lookin’ out!

  4. Mark Ross February 26, 2014 at 7:26 AM

That sucks. I can’t get one all because I’m not living in the US, and I’m not 18 yet. Life’s so unfair! Lol.

    1. J. Money February 26, 2014 at 10:25 AM

I forget, do you live in Canada by chance? If so I just got permission to open it up to those peeps :)

  7. Laurie @thefrugalfarmer February 26, 2014 at 7:36 AM

I’ve heard great things about this book! I would LOVE to help all of our kids start up their own side hustles. Our oldest, at 14, is an author and budding artist/comic strip writer (we’re currently working on her side hustle), our second oldest is an amazingly talented budding pastry chef. The other two are not sure what their side hustles are yet. :-)

  8. Courtney February 26, 2014 at 7:51 AM

I’d like to start a side hustle doing alterations! I love to sew and would like to make money doing it. I hear friends talk about paying $20 to get a pair of pants hemmed, $10 to have a button sew on (what???) or $75 to have a bridesmaids dress altered. I’m good at what I do but need to do better about getting the word out. I have 3 young girls and this is something I can do from home.

    1. J. Money February 26, 2014 at 10:36 AM

Agreed!! I’d love to have someone to help me with that stuff.

  9. Richard February 26, 2014 at 7:51 AM

A blog that I’ve been hesitant to start!

  10. Julia February 26, 2014 at 7:52 AM

Thanks for the giveaway! I’d love help with / ideas for a specialized cooking business….

  11. Brian@ Debt Discipline February 26, 2014 at 8:02 AM

I like to start coaching people with their finances. Go figure.

    1. J. Money February 26, 2014 at 10:27 AM

      You like money?? No way!

  12. Kali @ CommonSenseMillennial February 26, 2014 at 8:03 AM

I’ve been wanting to check this book out! I’d love help continuing to grow what’s currently a side hustle – freelance writing and content management – into a full-time biz. I’m on my way but I could always use more help!

  13. Jen @ Jen Spends February 26, 2014 at 8:13 AM

I love the description of an Eventual Millionaire — that’s how I see myself, but I don’t know the way yet. My goal has been to make money writing (blogging, hopefully a book someday), but I have always wanted to run a shop of some sort as well. I have too many interests and not enough focus.

  14. S L February 26, 2014 at 8:15 AM

I want to start an illlumination business. I have created hand-painted scrolls, awards, and even been approved to create one (so far!) ketubah. I work with acid-free paper and paint, and generally put in between 8 and 20 hours per art-piece.

    1. J. Money February 26, 2014 at 10:35 AM

      That’s different!

  15. Broke Millennial February 26, 2014 at 8:21 AM

In terms of legal side hustles…? :P Like most other PFers I’d love to help people with their money, but specifically kids. Or maybe something kickass like being a beer taste tester for a brewery!

  16. Kendra Wiley February 26, 2014 at 8:30 AM

Investing in real estate on my home state of Texas.

  17. a terrible husband... February 26, 2014 at 8:35 AM

Ha! I love it. Big fan of Jaime! Two things I could use help with that I’m working on? Hmm… I’d have to say book launches and podcast launches. Both on the 2014 to-do list.

  18. Samantha February 26, 2014 at 9:05 AM

I need help with my event planning business. I started on my own in 2008 – but haven’t made it a priority with all my other hobbies and full-time job.

  19. Megan February 26, 2014 at 9:07 AM

I’ve been working on business analysis skills at work and would eventually like to be freelance.

  20. Shane @ Beating Broke February 26, 2014 at 9:11 AM

I probably need help isolating that one thing that I should focus on, rather than having 20 things going at once…

    1. J. Money February 26, 2014 at 10:34 AM

That’s a tough one, brotha – all entrepreneurs struggle with that one it seems :(

  21. David February 26, 2014 at 9:18 AM

I’ve been interested in the mindset of successful entrepreneurs and this book seems like just that! I’ve been dabbling in bulk purchases of home goods for resale but could always use new ideas to implement a better strategy for resale.

  22. angie February 26, 2014 at 9:23 AM

I’d like help finding that thing I can do on my own..

  23. Jordan February 26, 2014 at 9:25 AM

This looks like an excellent book. As for starting my own business, my college roommate and I with the help of his father that just retired are planning on starting a real estate firm in the near future.

Both of us are 23 and I personally and paying down my 25k student loan debt and trying to sack away some seed money, he just needs the seed money. Once we have some substantial money saved, the goal is to both get our license to sell (most likely in Florida) and then buy properties as investments, fix them up, and sell or market to rent.

I think this book can help us get there.

  24. jennifer February 26, 2014 at 9:27 AM

We have a side hustle, but it’s more of a hobby… we build custom bicycles in my garage!

  25. Kristine February 26, 2014 at 9:32 AM

I cannot afford to buy this book but I know that some day I will be able to. I would like help with getting past the roadblock that eventually appears as I try to succeed with various ideas.

  26. Heather@ 20 Something Syndrome February 26, 2014 at 9:38 AM

I would love blog coaching but a side hustle I’d like to start is personal training so It’d be awesome to have assistance reaching the goal of passing my test :)

    1. J. Money February 26, 2014 at 10:34 AM

And you can blog about personal training too :)

  27. Becky @ RunFunDone February 26, 2014 at 9:40 AM

I’m too dumb to start my own business, but I’d love to have this book for my husband who is self-employed. He is a metal artist and traditionally worked for the movie/tv industry making props, but then I made him move to WA. Now he teaches metal art classes and makes tools for metal artists.

    1. J. Money February 26, 2014 at 10:31 AM

Fascinating! Tell him he always has a spot here if he wants to contribute a side hustle guest post ;) Or, to talk about what it was like working in the film industry!

  28. Jon February 26, 2014 at 9:47 AM

Real estate! I love helping people, trying to bless them in finding their home! :-)

  29. Shana Brown February 26, 2014 at 9:59 AM

I would love to start a car detail business. My husband has the gift of cleaning cars and I have a business degree. My goal is to have a professional car detail business with the best customer service. I know we can do this business and this book will get us there.

  30. Wunderwriter February 26, 2014 at 10:08 AM

    I have two:

    1. Low carb baking. I lost over half my body weight on a low carb diet, and still stick to one religiously. As an avid baker and wannabe chef, I’ve adapted thousands of recipes so I never feel deprived. Most low carbers miss baked goods, and I’ve perfected cakes, cookies, pies, patries, you name it. I get rave reviews and would love to either package the items and sell them online, or open a low carb cafe, or just devote a website to altering recipes and trying them out so everyone can enjoy the low carb lifestyle with no sacrifices.

    2. Mortgage qualifying assistance. This has been mulling around in my head for years! As a mortgage underwriter, I saw borrower after borrower who did not prepare for being approved. There are many, many steps you can take to ensure mortgage loan approval, but you need to be coached beforehand so you know which bills to pay, how much to pay on them, what to do about open collections, divorce issues, etc. I would love to help borrowers out in advance of them applying for a mortgage (or SBA loan, or whatever), so their chances of being approved would be dramatically increased without being ripped off.

    1. J. Money February 26, 2014 at 10:32 AM

So good, and so drastically different! :)

  31. Ashley February 26, 2014 at 10:08 AM

I’d like help on starting a voice over business. I work at a radio station and have been voicing commercials for a while now, but would like to start doing some voice work independently. I know of a couple of websites and some of the equipment that I would need for home, but I figure there is more to it than that. Thanks!!

  32. Kelli February 26, 2014 at 10:16 AM

My husband and I have talked about starting our own online and/or brick and mortar store relating to his IT experience (of which I have none, so I would most likely be CFO/marketing) as well as an unrelated blog. This book would help with that and our career and finance outlook in general. Would love to read it!

  33. Emily Smith February 26, 2014 at 10:30 AM

What type of business/hustle/idea would you love help with?

I’ve been grateful to have had the opportunity in the past to help a life coach/business coach develop some of her online curriculum towards a course around accomplishing large life goals- SOOO much fun! Through this experience, I found how passionate I was for developing online curriculum/teaching/coaching. I’m currently a kindergarten teacher and plan on pursuing a principal/dean role at my current school after I complete graduate school. However, in the future I see myself in more of a hybrid role- working in education but running a side hustle on the side training/coaching/developing people- either 20 somethings and/or doing youth work around empowering young enterprenuers with their own side passions! This book looks AWESOME :)

  34. Christine February 26, 2014 at 10:33 AM

    An apartment website ;)

  35. Matt Becker February 26, 2014 at 10:38 AM

I’ve just started a financial planning practice and could definitely use all the help I can get! My goal is to create a business that gives my family both the time and financial flexibility to spend our lives doing the things we love.

  36. writing2reality February 26, 2014 at 10:58 AM

Is it considered a side hustle if I sit in the sweet lime green chair all day and watch the ‘stache do its thing? :)

    1. J. Money February 26, 2014 at 11:44 AM

As long as you make money from it, sure!

  37. Steve February 26, 2014 at 11:07 AM

I have owned a small business for 20+ years and my investments and home equity are worth over a million so not sure I technically qualify for the giveaway. One thing I would note to anyone starting a business that took me years and years to learn is to make sure you hire the right people. It may cost more but hiring the wrong person is without question more costly over the long haul.

  38. Matt February 26, 2014 at 11:09 AM

Help for my mom’s recently opened small business

  39. Will Murphey February 26, 2014 at 11:15 AM

Side Hustle: Teach others about UNIX and how to retire within 10 years.

It combines both my passions. UNIX and financial independence.

After 11 years as a UNIX Admin with a fortune fifty company; I started to focus more time on mentoring the newbies about UNIX than my daily duties. With this skill, one can quickly make $100K a year, no college degree needed. I would ensure the students obtains several UNIX certifications that employers are looking for and what specific tools/skills/knowledge will get them placed in that UNIX chair. My niche would be more than just landing them a good paying job, it would take it one step further by teaching financial acumen. Make that money, but don’t just blow it all!. The financial basics would be taught and monthly “check up’s” would be required. Keys points taught would involve, Paying off debt, Keeping, expenses low, Investing that surplus in high yielding assets, and Transitioning to early retirement.

    1. J. Money February 26, 2014 at 11:45 AM

LOVE THAT. Skills that can take you so far and are always needed in this computer world of ours. Good one!

  42. Leonard @ The Wallet Doctor February 26, 2014 at 11:24 AM

This sounds like a great book. From the description, it sounds like some of the advice transcends just those working on a start up. Overcoming those fears of failure while learning to effective manage your own time and money are essential to living a comfortable life. Thanks for telling us about it!

    1. J. Money February 26, 2014 at 11:45 AM

I’m so digging your blog name, hahaha… good one Wallet Doctor!

  44. Derek February 26, 2014 at 11:36 AM

I am starting a financial consulting firm focusing on helping start-ups and other small to medium businesses with their financial reporting, KPI tracking, and internal controls, as well as interim CFO work. I love Jaime’s podcast and can’t wait to read her book.

  45. Thomas S February 26, 2014 at 11:40 AM

    custom jewelry site

  46. BJ @ AFatFreelife.com February 26, 2014 at 11:46 AM

I enjoy doing major remodels of the homes I have owned and over the past year started researching “green building science” and “net zero (energy made provides for energy used)” houses. I have been implementing those ideas into our latest remodel and have enjoyed it very much. It is a much more attention to detail way to build.

To answer the question of “What type of business/hustle/idea would you love help with?”

I hope to one day move away from my current career and into building or remodeling 1 spec house a year. These houses will showcase the green building ideas which will allow for substantially reduced energy bills as well as healthier indoor environments.

    1. J. Money February 26, 2014 at 11:48 AM

I would love to be able to hire you too! My dream is to (help) build a home from scratch, and I’d love for it to be as close to zero-energy as possible. Just need to work on the cash stacking first :)

  47. Angie February 26, 2014 at 11:54 AM

I would love to become an event planner and incorporate my background in psychology AND nutrition!. I am organized and I have great communication and tech skills. I’m naturally an introvert….I’d love to develop all of these pieces into a successful business.

Thanks so much for the chance – this looks like a fabulous book!

  48. Pat J February 26, 2014 at 11:57 AM

An online business on homekeeping, self, nurturing, and families and how the domino effect of this affects the bigger picture.

  49. Kevin Vesga February 26, 2014 at 12:14 PM

I’d like to start a computer technical support shop and maybe also offer to build custom computers.

  50. Kelley M February 26, 2014 at 12:14 PM

Sounds like a great book and I’m having fun poking around the website! To answer the question I’m saving to buy my first investment property so I’ll be scouring the internet for help with that once I get the $$!

  51. Yana February 26, 2014 at 12:19 PM

Looks like a good book, though “eventual” is not really a word for the impatient ;) I’d like help for my business, an independent distributorship of nutritional products, in the form of online customers and downline.

  52. Felicity Carmody February 26, 2014 at 12:21 PM

I am so intrigued by this book as I have just co-founded a music business management company AND we are pursuing a space to start a music studio where we live in LA. I owned an event planning company previously and I ran it all by myself. I am thrilled to have started another company now with the experiences I earned and to have a partner in my business. I am very excited to read this book as I follow J Money/ BAS and if you recommend it, I’ll read it! I truly feel like my first company was a huge lesson in running a business and I want this company to be the vehicle to a long lasting career and financial stability.

    1. J. Money February 28, 2014 at 7:51 PM

Sounds like a lot of fun too – good luck with it!

  53. Vanessa February 26, 2014 at 12:28 PM

I’ve started selling tropical seeds online and need all the help i can get :-)

    1. Kristine February 26, 2014 at 12:38 PM

I would like to see what you have to sell. What is your link? I will have to order when it warms up though!

  54. Chris @ Flipping A Dollar February 26, 2014 at 12:41 PM

Hmm, this is a toughie. I’d love to expand my eBay business to amazon, buying wholesale and working directly from a company instead of just doing arbitrage based on luck of the draw. Other option would be to help my wife push off for her craft business. I don’t know if her business could get the the million dollar level, but I’m betting my Amazon one could as I know of people who have done it.

  55. Ron Drotos February 26, 2014 at 12:48 PM

    Hi Jaime,
Full disclosure: I’ll probably buy the book anyway, but every cent counts these days :)
I started my piano teaching website, KeyboardImprov.com a little over a year ago, and so far it’s been an incredible experience. Even though I’ve worked hard to put tons of instruction on it already, it’s really still in the infancy stage. I want to keep it growing over the years. What I love most about your blog is the concept of slow growth, personal connection, and patience. What I’d like to do is grow my business organically and steadily while sharing my love of music and helping as many people as possible. It’s been extremely gratifying so far and I look forward to learning from others’ experience through your book. Thanks, and best of luck with your book launch!

    1. J. Money February 28, 2014 at 7:52 PM

      Sounds like a great idea!

  56. Mary C February 26, 2014 at 1:19 PM

I would love some help with my online selling hustle. I have plenty of stock, and could use help figuring out the best methods of putting it out there. When I started doing it was fun and exciting, and I’ve quickly come to realize it sucks a TON of time out of you for little profit.

  57. Nick Nieman February 26, 2014 at 1:26 PM

If love help learning the best way to get my new shooting target business off of the ground. Learning weather to take it online and have to worry about shipping/freight costs or keeping it local at first until we build a client base. How to approach the legal aspect of a business. As well as unforeseen issues I don’t even know exist yet.

  58. Stephanie February 26, 2014 at 1:37 PM

I really want to start a business selling fair trade goods as it combines my passion for helping others with my desperate need to make a little money myself. Scared to take the leap, though I’ve been planning for three years. Hopefully soon, will definitely keep this book in mind as a resource. :)

  59. Erin February 26, 2014 at 1:41 PM

Starting an Alaskan pork production venture that would serve both as a contributor to a local food coop but also for shipping overseas to Asia.

  60. JF February 26, 2014 at 1:45 PM

Sounds like a good book, would love to check it out!

  61. Liz February 26, 2014 at 1:54 PM

I’m trying to build an card/invitation business!

  62. Rick February 26, 2014 at 1:54 PM

I would like to help educate personal finance in our local high school. Everyone would agree they need it!

  63. George February 26, 2014 at 2:08 PM

I am working on a tour business in my hometown, this would be a great read for me!

  64. JC February 26, 2014 at 3:19 PM

I want to open an eco-friendly, bulk store that focuses on supplying daily-use items and natural foods from local manufacturers. Customers could bring their own containers and refill on things like laundry detergent, olive and other types of cooking oils, beans, nuts, spices, cocoa, coffee – just to name a few. The layout would look like a giant candy store with dispensers hanging on the wall to make it easy to fill your containers. I also want there to be space for two DIY test kitchens, where people can come in and use equipment to make their own natural products like laundry detergent, cleaning agents, etc. in one kitchen, and whole food baking products like nut butters and nondairy milks in the other.

    1. Aimee February 26, 2014 at 9:30 PM

      I LOVE this idea!!!!

      1. J. Money February 28, 2014 at 7:53 PM

I second that! Especially if there’s a room where you can eat it all too, like a cereal bar ;)

  65. Jacob February 26, 2014 at 4:04 PM

I hung out with Jamie at FinCon this year. Awesome lady!

I want to turn my blog into a financial and business coaching practice, similar to what Jamie has done, with more a focus on lifestyle design and finances.

  66. Joel February 26, 2014 at 4:05 PM

I could really benefit from this book as I’m constantly thinking of ways to kick start ideas I encounter, particularly a hair salon business.
    Thanks for the opportunity!

  67. linda February 26, 2014 at 4:19 PM

I would like to know the in and outs of starting a healthy food/supplement store.

  68. Lindsay February 26, 2014 at 5:00 PM

I’d love help with making my local blog better. I’ve been blogging about Pittsburgh for 9 years – I love sharing local stories. I’ve got an awesome group of readers (we just crossed 24,000 followers on Twitter – but I don’t make any money from the site). I wish the blog made a little bit of ad revenue so I could spend more time writing about Pittsburgh. My blog is http://www.IheartPGH.com

I just started a side hustle with a friend – office/personal organization and clutter removal (we’ll also pack up your house before you move!). :) We’ve got client #2 this weekend, so I could use a littel guidance…

    1. J. Money February 28, 2014 at 7:54 PM

Congrats! The fact that you already have a client (or, two now!) is huge. Means there’s a demand for it!

A book — I’m allowing myself to be distracted and/or making short-term projects more important.

  71. One Frugal Girl February 26, 2014 at 6:11 PM

My husband and I would like to start a video surveillance system. So people can watch over their properties even when they aren’t home.

  72. Daniel February 26, 2014 at 7:59 PM

I would like to start a side hustle of consulting people on how to organize. I’m an organized person, so I think it would be interesting to help others go through their junk and get it organized, too.

  73. Alisa February 26, 2014 at 8:42 PM

This book sounds interesting! I just started my blog and I also want to help people with their personal finances.

  74. Katie February 26, 2014 at 8:50 PM

I would love to start a rental business – buying properties, fixing them up and renting out for a profit. I have a lot of research and saving to do before I start – thinking that 5 years is a good goal to make my first purchase.

  75. lori h February 26, 2014 at 9:00 PM

help parents navigate the education system when they have a TAG child

  76. Heather February 26, 2014 at 9:01 PM

It might not be a very profitable side-hustle but I’d love to put my HR skills to use and help veterans with their resumes and interview preparations!

  77. Sarah B February 26, 2014 at 9:03 PM

I’m working on developing a patient care improvement blog and develop a side hustle speaking on health issues and treatment of patients. I think this could definitely help in developing a more cohesive plan.

  78. Aimee February 26, 2014 at 9:28 PM

I would love to be a budgeting coach for people with big financial goals/changes. For example, a recent grad whose student loans are about to kick in, or some one who would like to pay off a chunk of debt, or a person who would like to save for a particular goal.

  79. Stefanie February 26, 2014 at 10:11 PM

I would love this! I have been thinking of starting a small business after finding a solution to a problem I was having with a piece of running equipment. This would be the perfect tool to start taking he first steps!!

  80. Derek Olsen February 26, 2014 at 10:39 PM

What type of business/hustle/idea would you love help with?

    I am launching a web-series in May.

I would love help with this lil hustle.

    ;)

I’m writing on behalf of my grand daughter. She’s 6 years old and is brilliant (literally – IQ of 155) but she is also suffering from some god-forsaken disease (eoe – google it. no one has ever heard of it unless they’re dealing with it). This kid could blog like nobody’s business, which would be a good thing for her since she’ll probably be house-bound in a year or two (maybe sooner, who knows).

    1. J. Money February 28, 2014 at 7:57 PM

Awwwww, you’re so nice to try and win this for her! I hope you win!

  82. Ryan @ Impersonal Finance February 26, 2014 at 11:28 PM

My wife started her own jewelry design business. Well, is in the process of starting it. She designs and creates jewelry, she just doesn’t have the business side of it down. I’m afraid I’m not much help on that front. So she could use it.

  83. stephanie February 27, 2014 at 12:10 AM

My side hustle with my friend would be to provide transportation and translation services for Veteran senior citizens and/or retirees. We’d also pick up their medications and any groceries, take their pets for walks, etc. We just want to give back to people who’ve given so much to ensure the freedom we sometimes take for granted.
My personal side hustle is related to one mentioned above: I iron clothes for people. I am flabbergasted by what people will pay to have a shirt ironed – and I don’t even mind doing it!!! And of course I do small repairs (buttons, hems, etc); no big alterations because I’m not that gifted.
Some very cool and interesting ideas posted today – I especially like the tropical seeds (post a link!) and the free trade store.

  84. Catina Mount February 27, 2014 at 12:33 AM

    Here goes nuthin’!
I have a site catinascauses.com that is going through a re-brand of sorts (soon to be anchored hope.org) Initially it was dedicated to utilizing the fine art of “couponing” to support local non-profits. This past year SOMEONE built a tribe (OK, it was me) and now I have this insane desire to take my posse and TURN.IT.UP.

I have come to the beautiful realization that with a revenue stream, we can totally kill it. Our goal is to be on the ground floor, as close to “direct-giving” as possible. I am fueled by seeing WHERE the donations go. Writing a check does nada for us…we want to be all up in it!

So, I am tossing around a few ideas but there is a T-shirt/hoodie/accesories , etc… clothing line that keeps me awake at night (which is terrible because I work full-time)….I have the design ideas but just don’t know how to make it HAPPEN.

BOOM. I put it out into the universe, let’s see if I win.
    Catina :-)

      Gotta big dream, baby :)

  85. Lynda February 27, 2014 at 12:50 AM

if i had a lot of capital, i would love to open a build-a-bear in my home country in taiwan. but, seeing as i don’t, i would love to open up some kind of non-profit for homeless diabetics for their blood sugar care.

  86. Jeff Wilson February 27, 2014 at 2:24 AM

Love this book already without even reading it ;)

and I would LOVE help with the below….

For myself, I’m actually on the comeback trail after growing crazy fast in the event industry in Europe, and then losing all the money I made faster tun I earned it. The reason was that I’d actually stopped listening to my heart, my gut. So…. now this little Aussie Battler is back in Australia, has done a lot of reflecting, and is right at the start of ‘boot strapping’ my new biz which is a little media platform for guys sharing ‘real’ info on life covering all kinds of topics, but theres no mention of ‘fast forwards, shortcuts, 6 minute abs etc’ just real content for real men. For me personally I’m also ‘finally’ budgeting properly and loving it, and can’t wait to watch my new biz grow organically and feeling great about sharing cool, cutting edge, real information. This book would be an epic help with my journey :)

  87. Jim S February 27, 2014 at 8:49 AM

I want to take my side hustle dj business to the next level–advertising, trade shows, new equipment–this is going to be my children’s way to pay for college when they get old enough to “take over the family business.” Thank you, Jaime and J. Money!

  88. Tatiana February 27, 2014 at 8:50 AM

Gees that’s a lot of responses! Haha, but you gotta be in it to win it!

Running coach, florist, estate sales, writing a book (even I’m rolling my eyes!), moving company, interior decorator, photographer –

I have plenty of ideas and things I’d love to be doing besides a typical 9-5 where you answer to the man .. Just can’t quite seem to get down to business though :/

See what I’m doing here? Trying to appeal to your mentoring side :D

  89. Donna February 27, 2014 at 9:46 AM

I’d like to write as a side hustle gig.
I’ve also been toying with the idea of restarting a former business I had, but limiting the product line. My husband and I have been talking about starting up a business as well.

In a perfect world, someone would pay me to read books that I want to read. A girl can dream, right? :)

  90. Deloris Penn February 27, 2014 at 10:08 AM

I’ve started an online shop to display inspiring and eclectic home decor and feminine accessories {designed by me} that have empowering messages for women. (www.SheDecor.com) I’d love to WIN THE BOOK to learn how to expand my business venture :)

  93. Bryan February 28, 2014 at 12:43 AM

I need help selling advertising space on my car. I was driving around town and seen a Cadillac Escalade with magnetic signs on the door panels (advertisements) for a hip hop radio station in my state. I thought it was some famous rapper or an employee of the station. Nope…The station bought the signs and are paying them to just drive around as a moving billboard. I would love to get help with getting into that business, where do I start, who I contact, etcetera etcetera. I would like to sell space on my door panels, hood & trunk. Maybe the top too if I can get paid for it.

    1. J. Money February 28, 2014 at 8:02 PM

Haha… that’s awesome. I’ve seen that done on HOUSES too, if you can believe that. Neighbors don’t enjoy that as much ;)
