Totally a great reminder on things in life that don’t cost a lot of money! It reminds me of this poster they had in college that I think was meant to discourage drug and alcohol use, but it listed all the fun things you could do in college (aside from those other things!) I think it was called “high on life” or something. My best friend replicated this for my wedding shower and had all the people attending write down memories or things they thought would be happiness-inducing for me. :-)

If you think about it, we’re living a much better life compared to the kings and queens of the yesteryears. Specifically, we have:

    – Clean water, heat in the winter, air conditioner in the summer
    – Bright lights that turn on with a flip of a switch, and recently via voice using a smart speakerphone
    – Unlimited source of entertainment via the internet
    – Access to really effective medicine and pain-free surgeries

Everybody should be thankful for what they already have. Thanks for this beautiful post.

What a great article!! Reminds us all of the importance of being thankful, being grateful!

I was listening to a podcast today about Happiness, and how money does not buy it. Instead, having a kind, thankful and grateful heart makes us happy.

We all are so blessed and can be thankful for many things in the 21st century that others did not have. Often times we are not happy when we try to keep us with the Jones, and that also makes us lose money too! maybe it goes hand in hand?

      Probably!

Us humans are flawed – it takes us a while to finally catch on, haha…
