Just a quick message today to wish you and your loved ones a most happy (and drama free) Thanksgiving holiday, and to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my life 100x better over the last 11 years :)
I know I say it a lot, but if it weren’t for you guys coming here every day I would have quit this silly little project years ago, and probably would have gone back to my ridiculous consumer ways…
So thank you for not only making my wallet better over the years, but also for making me actually want to get up and GO TO WORK every single morning too to chat about this stuff with y’all! It’s been one of the best parts of my life, and can’t wait to see what else the future has in store for us.

Happy Thanksgiving! We definitely won’t have time to go out this year. Our family is mostly spread out, so we rented a large house for all of us to come together at a middle point (geographically) and spend the long weekend together. It’s on the rural side so I doubt there will be anyone going shopping that day. We plan to distract them using games and their kids/grandkids. lol. We’ve never done anything like this before. I hope you have a great time with your family.

Our three grown kids all have other obligations this Thanksgiving so my wife and I are going on our first ever overnight backpacking hike. It is supposed to rain the whole time so it may turn out to be a hilarious misadventure, have a great week J.

I went for some positive drama and surprised my mom for her birthday and Thanksgiving! My cousin was in on it, to ensure adding one more wouldn’t be a problem. Now mom gets help with all the prep!
